A Message from the Board of Trustees

It seems as though the Parade to kick off the softball and baseball seasons was just yesterday! It is hard to believe we are winding down the Spring seasons, and gearing up for Summer months. We appreciate the dedication of our players, our coaches, commissioners and volunteers. The weather did not cooperate at times, but through the steadfast leadership of our commissioners and coaches were able to practice and play.

The Board remains committed to providing all participants with a great experience so that they can develop their skills, socialize,  and fall in love with sport. We will continue to reinvest in our children and provide the resources for our programs  as demonstrated by -  buying new training aids and clinics, building new softball bullpens at Colony, assisting with the purchase of new wrestling mats,  and new apparel and uniforms for our teams. The Board recently met with Mayor Misciagna to brainstorm ways we can move the needle to improve field space.

We also will continue to give back to the larger Owl’s Community - as we are excited to award the Inaugural PRAA Scholarships to two very deserving High School Seniors. We hope to continue to highlight our athletes and teams and keep our members informed through our active Instagram account.

We hope you find this newsletter informational. Please consider getting involved in the PRAA. We need your support, expertise, and leadership.
