Grade 1 baseball introduces engaging activities and simplified drills.  Players learn fundamental skills like throwing, catching, and hitting. Coaches emphasize fun and participation, encouraging each child to develop at their own pace and fostering a love for the game.  Again, no games are really played at this level as the kids are still learning and getting comfortable.  Inter-town scrimmages would be up the coaches discretion.  Also, kids should start learning how to pitch, as they will still be hitting off a tee with coach pitch mixed in to start to get the kids used to seeing live pitching. Clinics/practices are normally held on the weekends.
